Screens and pairing

Each screen has a display name, location label, public QR alias, and pairing state. Use names such as Entrance TV or Trial Room 2 so staff can operate the correct display.

Pair a screen

1. Create the screen in Studio.
2. Open the TV pairing surface on the physical display.
3. Generate a short-lived pairing code in Studio.
4. Enter or confirm the code on the TV.
5. Verify the paired state and idle QR display.

The paired browser stores a long-lived device token until it is revoked or reset. Do not use the direct demo TV URL as a production pairing substitute.

Operate safely

• Test idle, loading, result, clear, reconnect, and timeout behavior.
• Keep raw customer uploads off the TV; only eligible generated results are displayed.
• Clear the display when the customer session ends.
• Revoke the device before replacing or disposing of a screen.
• Generate a new pairing code when moving a screen to another device.
