VTO funnel

The VTO funnel is attempt-based. A unique funnel identity follows one shopper attempt through its stages so telemetry retries do not inflate counts.

The entry point distinguishes the floating launcher from the embedded widget. Use this to compare discovery performance without creating different generation definitions.

  • High click-to-photo drop-off can indicate unclear consent, low trust, or an unsuitable photo prompt.
  • High crop drop-off can indicate a mobile viewport or gesture problem.
  • High upload drop-off can indicate browser, signed URL, CORS, or network problems.
  • High submitted-to-started drop-off can indicate request acceptance or service availability problems.
  • High started-to-failed rates point to generation or input quality.

Success rate uses attempts with a known terminal generation outcome. Completion coverage separately shows how many starts reached either success or failure.
